“With LabBuddy, students work so much more independently!”

The challenge

Lab classes can be quite demanding. Also, giving feedback to the students consumed a lot of time. Therefore, the teachers wanted to reduce some workload. Additionally, better prepared students are most welcome!

The transformation

We integrated LabBuddy in our course, with a lot of questions with automated feedback. We also added feedback on the outcomes of experiments. Finally, we added many practical details to eliminate practical questions to the supervisors.

The final result

The students started working a lot more independently in the laboratory using LabBuddy, because the programme can answer the most frequently asked questions. The programme also checks the results of calculations, which saves a lot of time in supervision.
